About This Show

Two rebel journeys collide in this musical play by Seattle playwright Chris Jeffries. Oscar Wilde’s first play was based on the life of Russian radical Vera Zasulich. Jeffries explores these two fascinating lives that have some uncanny parallels: both were arrested – Vera for attempting to murder an abusive prison guard and Wilde for gross indecency; both were outspoken, rebellious spirits. And both were considered dangerous. Jeffries script weaves together the stories of these two radical lives with wit, poetry and song. Are you ready for a revolution?
