The Philanderer

Aurora Theatre opens its ninth season with George Bernard Shaw’s The Philanderer. The show explores gender roles, the art of being “manly” or “womanly,” and the hilarious/disastrous consequences of pretending there is little difference between them. It has been said that Shaw wrote this play based on an embarrassing incident in his own life.
