The Elves and the Shoemaker

For nearly twenty years two little elves have been creating joyous chaos for a shoemaker and his wife on stage and for South Bay audiences alike during the holiday season. In what has become a tradition for many families in the Bay Area, the California Theatre Center¹s production of The Elves and the Shoemaker will warm the hearts of young and old alike in this charming holiday classic.

Based on the Grimm Brothers¹ fairy tale, these merry elves arrive in a small village near the Black Forest to discover a poor shoemaker who clearly needs assistance. In spite of their playful antics, it is the elves’ selflessness and resourcefulness that save the shoemaker and his wife from an unhappy holiday season.
