The Elves and the Shoemaker

In what has become a tradition for many families in the Bay Area, the California Theatre Center produces the charming holiday classic: The Elves and the Shoemaker. Based on the Grimm Brothers’ fairy tale, these merry elves arrive in a small village near the Black Forest to discover a poor shoemaker who clearly needs assistance. In spite of their playful antics, it is the elves’ selflessness and resourcefulness that save the shoemaker and his wife from an unhappy holiday season.
