About This Show

Lorna Luft returns to Feinstein’s at the Nikko for Pride Weekend performances that are uniquely Lorna. Daughter of legendary entertainer Judy Garland, Luft will remind us all of the connection between her mother’s funeral on June 27, 1969 and the Stonewall Riots that began in the early hours of June 28, 1969 starting the modern gay rights movement and how Garland’s signature “Over the Rainbow” may have inspired the rainbow flag as the symbol of the LGBT community.

Luft’s own theatrical career has included roles on Broadway, in national tours, European and regional theater productions and was most recently seen by San Francisco audiences in Irving Berlin’s White Christmas at SHN last December.
