Kiss Me, Kate

William Shakespeare’s timeless battle-of-the-sexes The Taming of the Shrew, combined with the incomparable music and lyrics of the great Cole Porter becomes Kiss Me, Kate, a sophisticated musical comedy.

It’s a play within a play, where the interior play is a musical version of The Taming of the Shrew, produced and directed by the egotistical Fred Graham, who co-stars as Petruchio along side his ex-wife (the less than wooable Lilli Vanessi) as the “shrew,” Kate.
