About This Show

May 14 – for fans of Frank Sinatra and Bobby Darin, this date is incredibly important. For on that date in 1936, Walden Robert Cassotto, who would become Bobby Darin, was born. And on that date in 1998 the world said goodbye to the greatest popular singer of all time, Francis Albert Sinatra.

To commemorate Darin’s 80th birthday and the 18th anniversary of the passing of Ol’ Blue Eyes, Jonathan Poretz returns to Feinstein’s at the Nikko with his highly acclaimed show, “Sex, Swagger & Swing: Sinatra and Darin in the Concert That Never Was.”

Though Sinatra and Darin never shared a stage, Jonathan Poretz does the impossible, bringing these two musical giants together, in concert for the first time.

Regardless of whose camp you’re in, prepare yourself for an exhilarating musical evening as Poretz and the Fil Lorenz Orchestra pit Sinatra and Darin classics against each other in a true Clash of the Titans.
