Funny Girlz: A Smorgasbord of Women’s Humor

Kung Pao Kosher Comedy presents the 5th annual Funny Girlz: A Smorgasbord of Women’s Humor. As always, this annual celebration of women’s comedy features a hysterical line-up of internationally, nationally and locally known funny female performers.

The comedians are a diverse mix:

Shazia Mirza–a British Pakistani Muslim comic, in from London to perform in the US for the first time
Esther Weintraub–an 87 year old Jewish grandmother/comedian
Diane Amos–an African American comedian/film actress/Pine Sol TV commercial icon
Amy Boyd–a Caucasian-American lesbian comic/East Bay cop
Maria Elena Fernandez–an LA-based Latina performance artist/Chicano/a Studies professor
