About this show

Franc D'Ambrosio is best known as "The Iron Man of the Mask," having played the title role in Andrew Lloyd Webber's Tony Award-winning musical The Phantom of the Opera for more than 2,300 performances — a record he held for a decade. Because of this notoriety, D'Ambrosio was cast by Barry Manilow as the lead in Manilow's touring production of Copacabana.

Another favorite role of D'Ambrosio's was Anthony Corleone, Al Pacino's opera singer son in Francis Ford Coppola's Academy Award-nominated film The Godfather: Part III, a performance that afforded D'Ambrosio the opportunity to study with legendary tenor Luciano Pavarotti.

Now D'Ambrosio is celebrating more than 10 years touring extensively as both a solo performer and a guest artist in the pop series of many American symphony orchestras.
