BATS Improv Long-Form Festival
$12.00 - $20.00
BATS Improv Long-Form Festival is a month-long festival hosted by San Francisco’s favorite improvisational theatre company. Long-form improvisation is one of BATS’ specialty show formats, and is akin to watching a full-length play or movie –albeit one created from scratch right in front of the audience.
Themed performances scheduled for the 2006 Long Form Festival include Warp Speed, Make-Your-Own-Musical, Disco Romance, Improvised Shakespeare and more. Special performances by the acclaimed troupes 3 For All, True Fiction Magazine and a special performance of The Harold format (the oldest long-form improv format) — featuring special guest Jim Cranna, who performed the first “Harold” back in the 60’s — are highlights of the Festival.
