Brian Stokes Mitchell

Brian Stokes Mitchell, Tony Award-winning star of stage and screen, returns home to San Diego for an exclusive one-night concert at La Jolla Playhouse. Dubbed “the last leading man” by The New York Times, he has enjoyed a career that spans Broadway, television, film and concert appearances with the country’s finest conductors and orchestras. An extremely versatile and in-demand singer, Stokes has performed at venues all over the country, spanning jazz, opera, pops, country and musical theatre worlds. His musical talents extend to working as producer, arranger and orchestrator on his own albums.

Proceeds from the concert will benefit both the Playhouse’s Education & Outreach and New Play Development Programs, and The Actors Fund, a national human service organization that helps everyone who works in performing arts and entertainment.
