The Shakespeare Stealer

Join us for an imaginative adventure set in Elizabethan London: Gary Blackwood’s The Shakespeare Stealer. Widge is an orphan with a special talent. His Master has taught him a secret shorthand and sends him to London’s Globe Theatre to steal the Bard’s latest play. When Widge gets caught sneaking around the theatre, he covers by pretending that he always dreamed of being on stage. Suddenly Widge is an apprentice actor, working with Master Shakespeare himself! Widge learns swordplay and acting skills and everything seems fine… until his Master shows up demanding the stolen play. Or else.
