About This Show

The audience decides “whodunnit” in this uproarious musical by Rupert Holmes, based on Dickens’ “lost” novel, winner of five Tony Awards. Amanda Dehnert directs, with choreography by Sharon Jenkins and music direction by Tim Robertson.

John Jasper, a choirmaster reminiscent of Jekyll-and-Hyde, is smitten with Rosa Bud, but she is engaged to Jasper’s nephew, Edwin Drood. The mysterious twins Neville and Helena Landless have just arrived from the Far East. On Christmas Eve, Drood disappears. Was it murder — and if so, whodunnit? Giving the audience the final vote, The Mystery of Edwin Drood lets you decide not only the murderer, but also which characters end up happily ever as the show’s (sometimes unlikely) lovebirds.
