Into the Woods is the largest show to date for the Good Theater, featuring a cast of 17 and 3 musicians. The Tony Award-winning show, with music by Stephen Sondheim and a book by James Lapine, weaves together several fairy tales – including Cinderella, Jack and the Beanstalk, Rapunzel, and Little Red Ridinghood. Joining them on their journey is the Baker and his wife, who try to lift a spell cast by the Witch. Good Theater’s artistic director, Brian P. Allen, directs the production with choreography by Betsy Melarkey Dunphy. Aaron Robinson serves as the musical director.
In addition to the regular schedule, a 3:00 PM matinee performance of Into the Woods is arranged for Saturday, November 11.
