About This Show

One playwright. Two actors. Six one-character plays. Two evenings of dazzling storytelling by one of the most gifted and versatile writers in the English language. Universally hailed for its razor-sharp wit, exquisite turns of phrase, and deeply observant view of the ironies of life, Talking Heads offers richly detailed portraits of eccentric characters like Miss Fozzard, a spinster who redefines “footloose and fancy free,” and Leslie, an actress of dubious talent who’s willing to bare her soul–and more–to prove her commitment to her art. Talking Heads is presented in repertory, with two programs of three monologues each at alternating performances.
