About This Show

Lantern Theater Company presents The Comedy of Errors by William Shakespeare at St. Stephen’s Theater (10th and Ludlow Streets). Co-directed by Charles McMahon and Dugald MacArthur, the cast features Aaron Cromie, Jared Delaney, Lee Ann Etzold, Amy Gorbey, Dave Jadico, Christy Parker, Geoff Sobelle and William Zielinski.

In the play, a shipwreck, lost jewelry, mistaken identity, and two sets of twins are just a few of the ingredients needed for Shakespeare’s madcap, rollicking grand adventure, where the comedy is fast and furious and the plot gets wilder and wackier. The Comedy of Errors combines transcendent poetry with the wit and humor of a master wordsmith in this colorful, madcap commedia dell’Arte production of Shakespeare’s zaniest comedy. Hijinks abound in this romp filled with music, dance, and side-splitting fun.

There is an additional Saturday matinee at 2:00 PM on May 1 and performances on Sunday, April 18 and Sunday, April 25 at 7:00 PM
