The Baker’s Wife

The new Baker has arrived in a rural French village just in time to ease the pains of the bickering villagers, who have been without bread for weeks. All is well — and everyone’s spirits are rising — until the Baker’s beautiful young wife runs off with the strapping local handyman, driving the Baker to distraction and the villagers to breadlessness.
