About This Show

The first production to result from InterAct’s 20/20 New Play Commissioning program, Little Lamb tells the story of Denny and Jose, who want to be daddies . . . Dennis Boughton has almost everything he could want in this world: a good home, a rewarding career, a loving partner, and a vast collection of Ethel Merman recordings. When he and Jose decide to adopt, they ask Cathy, their adoption agent, to help them find an African-American baby to bring into their home. But when the unthinkable happens, Cathy finds that she herself must make hard decisions about the home for this baby, and choose between her progressive values, her African-American heritage, and her Christianity. Little Lamb looks at how faith and culture collide when family values are at stake.
