Internationally beloved star Ted Neeley reprises his unforgettable performance in the title role of Jesus Christ Superstar, a rock opera by legendary writers Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice. Earning five TONY nominations during its original run, and featuring such notable songs as “Superstar,” “Everything’s Alright” and “I Don’t Know How to Love Him,” the show is considered one the most popular and enduring works ever created for the musical theater. It tells the story of the final seven days in the life of Jesus of Nazareth – dramatizing Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem, the unrest caused by his preaching and popularity, his betrayal by Judas, the trial before Pontius Pilate, and his ultimate crucifixion – and is perhaps more potent in today’s troubled world than when it was first produced in 1971.

Jesus Christ Superstar is directed by Dallett Norris (Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Can-Can, South Pacific) and choreographed by Arlene Phillips.
