About This Show

In Eugene Ionesco’s Exit the King the 300 year old King Berenger hops, skips, jumps, dances, limps, pulls faces, wears pyjamas and complains of lumbago. He is more fool than king, on his last legs and ruling over a decaying kingdom: the party is over and the end is nigh. Ionesco’s darkly hilarious and sparklingly witty comedy comes to life, making fun of all the things that tragedy takes seriously.
