The final production of Bristol Riverside Theatre’s 2003 – 2004 Season is the smash Broadway musical Ain’t Misbehavin’ – The Fats Waller Musical Show. This Tony Award winner, with music by Thomas “Fats” Waller, is based on an idea by Murray Horowitz and Richard Maltby, Jr.
Ain’t Misbehavin’ has been hailed as one of Broadway’s very best, well crafted revues of all time. With moments of devastating beauty, it features songs written by or made famous by the late, great Thomas “Fats” Waller, a larger-than-life talent whose tremendous personality comes through these tunes with an explosion of sound and excitement. Foot-stomping ragtime romps, passionate ballads, and off-the-cuff comedy take center stage in this electrifying parade of Waller’s most cherished hits.
