30 Fest

To close their 30th Anniversary Season, People’s Light celebrates that one-of-a-kind thing we all have in common–family. Provoked by the changes that the “nuclear” family has undergone in the past 30 years, The company has gone beyond Mom, Dad and their 2.5 biological children for the new definitions of home and family that abound today. These families mix ethnic, cultural and religious backgrounds, include same-sex partners, adopts children of other races, cope with new babies and careers, and work to keep their marriages lively. Doing so, they inspire us, rile us and make us who we are.
