About the Show

Written in 1896 as a snub at the existing political and social values in France, Alfred Jarry’s Ubu Roi has stood the test of time as a staple of aburdist theatre. Said to be loosely based on Shakespeare’s Macbeth, the play focuses on a very fat and moronic king and his appetite for power.

There is an additional performance on Saturday, May 18 at 12:00am.
