Flashing back to the era of Fanny Brice, Fred Astaire and Bill ?Mr. Bojangles? Robinson, six New York hopefuls set out to make their mark on the Great White Way in Let Me Sing: A Musical Evolution. This new musical traces the evolution of American music from Vaudeville to Broadway from the turn of the century to the second World War, featuring such songs as “Someone To Watch Over Me,” “You Made Me Love You,” and “Alexander?s Ragtime Band.” Andre De Shields stars.
There are no matinees on Thursday, December 5; Saturday, December 14; or Thursday, December 19. There are no performances on December 24, 25, 31, or January 1. There are additional performances on Mondays, December 23 and 30 at 8:00pm.
