Romeo and Bernadette

Romeo and Bernadette, written by Mark Saltzman, is a riot of a musical comedy. Verona, 1595 collides head on with Brooklyn, 1960 where Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet meets The Sopranos. Romeo spans the centuries, on a quest for his one and only beloved Juliet. He finds her in Brooklyn but her name is Bernadette and she is the daughter of a Mafia kingpin.
