Feel the energy, electricity and excitement of American Jazz dance as Gus Giordano Jazz Dance Chicago showcases this uniquely American art form at The Community Theatre.

The evening’s repertoire will feature the following works: “Bridge and Tunnel,” with choreography by Jon Lehrer and featuring the music of Paul Simon; “Sing, Sing, Sing,” with choreogrpahy by Gus Giordano and featuring music of Louis Prima; “Prey,” with choreography by Ron DeJesus and featuring music of Kodo; “Giordano Moves,” with choreography by Gus and Nan Giodano and an original music score by George McRae; and “Can’t Take This Away,” with choreography by Randy Duncan and featuring music of BeBe and CeCe Winans.

Currently in its 42nd season, Giordano Jazz Dance Chicago continues to bring the excitement of American jazz dance to cheering audiences in Chicago, across the United States and around the world. Continually expanding the boundaries of jazz dance while diversifying the repertoire, GJDC’s new works have received critical and audience acclaim.
