Carnival

The Barn Theatre presents this romantic musical set in France. The tale of a puppeteer’s unrequited love, Carnival is rarely produced even though it contains a great score with songs such as “Love Makes the World Go Round,” “It Was Always You,” and “Her Face.” Music and lyrics are by Bob Merrill, with book by Michael Stewart, based on material by Helen Deutsch. Mary Jo Stephenson directs the Barn’s production, with musical direction by Warren Helms.
