A Wonderful Life, based upon Frank Capra’s It’s a Wonderful Life, has become a holiday tradition. Now, Sheldon Harnick’s musical adaptation makes its Paper Mill debut just in time for the holidays. This is the story of George Baily, a small town banker with big time dreams that never came true. Time after time, George sacrificed his own ambitions for those around him, watching success slip right through his fingers. Now, on the night of his most devastating failure, George contemplates suicide. But with the help of Clarence, an unlikely angel determined to get his wings, George will realize that success is defined in many ways, and that everything he has is everything a man could want. This production is filled with Norman Rockwell moments that evoke the beloved film.
