The Miracle Worker

The Miracle Worker is the true story of Helen Keller, an Alabama girl struck blind and deaf as a baby after an elevated fever. Enter Annie Sullivan, a partially blind woman assigned the task of teaching Helen a way to communicate. Trapped in a secret, silent world and unable to be reached, Helen is violent, spoiled, and almost subhuman. Through Annie’s love and relentless tenacity, Helen finally connects with the outside world with the utterance of a single word: “water”.
