Not About Nightingales

The University Theatre presents Tennessee Williams’ Not About Nightingales Based on a 1930’s Philadelphia prison riot. Nightingales is a raw dramatization of real events at a Philadelphia prison in 1937 where convicts led a hunger strike, protesting conditions and the consequences that led to the death of four inmates.
