The Castillo Theatre presents The New York premiere of The Negro Ensemble Company's Sundown Names and Night-gone Things, written by Tony Award nominated and Obie Award winning playwright, Leslie Lee. The production is directed by New Federal Theatre Founder Woodie King, Jr. The play depicts the journey of 20-year-old Cairo Biggs, who has fled rural Mississippi for Chicago in the late 1930's in search of the Promised Land, armed with few skills but great curiosity.
