Painted Alice follows Alice, an artist struggling with painters' block, as she distances herself from her partner and accidentally falls through her canvas into a visual art-inspired wonderland. In this strange world rife with self-indulgent artists, she meets a variety of outrageous characters that challenge her idea of success and help her answer the question: Does domestic bliss cause artistic death?
LIC-A will present a fine art exhibition Drink Me, Taste Me: An Exhibition of Curious Things, curated by Norma Homberg specifically themed to Painted Alice. This unique artistic experience will couple visual art and live theater. The exhibition will be on view from April 11 through May 12.
