Glory! is a dramatic comedy that takes us through a harrowing, albeit hilarious, night with two elderly African-American sisters. After shooting her undercover spy husband, panic-stricken Jesstell shows up at true crime buff Bitty's house at the crack of dawn. Mystery and mayhem ensue as family secrets get spilled, shots are fired, and the truth is revealed. This serious black comedy is the sisterhood of Lucy and Ethel with a dash of soul.
This Dixon Place production is made possible, in part, with public funds from NYC Department of Cultural Affairs with the City Council, and New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo & the NY State Legislature.
