Baggage at the Door is a wry peek inside the head of a seemingly well-adjusted trauma queen's process to unpack her past and love the present. Joining the ONE Festival, this multimedia solo musical addresses the moment a trauma survivor realizes she can no longer simply cope; when falling in love triggers her latent PTSD, she might be f*cked.
Dana Aber is a performer, producer, collaborator, and creator. She is a survivor and advocate, and is honored to use her voice and share for those who cannot.
Incorporating video games, humor, and deli cheese, Baggage at the Door will present three performances as part of the ONE Festival. The winner of the ONE Festival receives a monetary award and a weeklong workshop presentation produced by the ONE Festival itself. Audience ballots are cast at the end of each show set.
