About This Show

Fresh off the success of Catholic School Girls, Woman Seeking… presents evenings of original short plays by writers from NY to Austin to LA — with a special Oscar Wilde section to help celebrate Pride and Summer!

As is already well known, Mr. Wilde spent two years in jail for refusing to stay in the closet, or as the Judge stated “for corruption of the most hideous kind among young men.” – Aptly, Pride Week is the perfect time for this tribute. His women characters are strong, independent and fun — and go along with Woman Seeking…’s mission of providing an arena free from stereotypes for women to practice and hone their craft in quality productions. The company’s Oscar Wilde tribute is coupled on different nights with two other series — NEW – an evening that explores the joys and frustrations of family and SIZZLING – an evening that explores heat and sensuality.

The Wilde & Sizzling series plays June 23rd, 24th, 27th and July 8th and 16th.

The Wilde & New series will play June 25 & 26 and July 11, 14 & 18th. Also playing is the New and Sizzling series running July 7, 9, 10, 15 & 17.

The performance on Pride Sunday June 27th is at 7:30pm.
