Richmond Shepard opens his first New York mime show in thirty-five years, The Secret of Survival, written and directed by Shepard, with a company of nine Mime/gymnasts and a music ensemble. In the show, Shepard and company perform nine ensemble Mime sketches, all with costumes, lighting and live music. Pieces include contemporary political statements about war and conformity, as well as satires on a Western, a Space Trip, and Kung Fu.
