About this show

A painter, Basil Hallward, paints a portrait of his muse, the handsome young man named Dorian Gray. Upon the completion of the portrait, Dorian's wish that the painting would grow old, and not he, is mysteriously granted. Set in the late 1800's, Oscar Wilde's tale explores the superficial nature of society, and the value of youth and beauty. This show is presented as part of the Planet Connections Festival.
