The Picture of Dorian Gray

Hothouse presents a new stage adaptation of Oscar Wilde’s The Picture of Dorian Gray. The adaptation, written and directed by Benjamin Solomon, puts a multimedia spin on Wilde’s classic tale of art, immorality and murder. The setting moves from Victorian London to contemporary, urban America. With a set comprised entirely of television monitors, the portrait is no longer a painting but a haunting video documentary.
