New York City
German Theater Abroad presents Alexei Schipenko’s compelling story of one man’s simple search to see a four-wheel drive, a modern appendage for the working class advertised in a local paper. The man is Klaus Klaus, a Berlin citizen here to buy a car – nothing else. Having stepped inside Kamardy’s Garage in the highly populated Turk-populated section of the city, Klaus inadvertently discovers a new life, making bold choices that will leave blood in their wake.
