A play written by Yiannis Kalavrianos which is based on real testimonies of people that weave together the history of Modern Greece. Additional stories which bridge Greece with America written by Eleni Drivas.
Eleven true stories which deal with Migration, World War II, the Occupation, the Civil War, the massive earthquake in Kefalonia in 1953, the construction of the Berlin Wall, the Junta and Greece in the years of the restoration of democracy. The production is enriched with real life stories of members of the Greek-American community in New York.
In this production, four actors compose familiar melodies and revive nostalgic images from the lives of previous generations. Through this musical and theatrical journey, the time intervals between generations and desires, struggles and passions of characters coincide with our search for happiness.
