About This Show

NeoPack presents two rarely seen Alan Bowne one-acts, Sharon and Billy and Beirut, presented as a single evening of theater. Seth Soloway directs.

Sharon and Billy takes place in a blue-collar family home in 1950s Los Angeles. Bowne called the play, “A brother and sister’s guerilla warfare against their parents.”

Beirut takes place on the Lower East Side of Manhattan in the near future, in which a plague has taken over the city. Blue, who is negative, sneaks into the quarantine zone to be with her boyfriend Torch, because she would rather die with the one she loves, than live without love.

There is an additional Thursday performance at 7pm on December 18.
