About This Show

Comedienne, author & self-proclaimed “goddess & girl with a big mouth,” River Huston has also been an aerobics instructor, a cabbie, an award-winning poet (and poet laureate of Bucks County), a public speaker, a sex columnist, a pot farmer & a dominatrix, though not necessarily in that order. She has also been living with HIV for 20 years, and is, in the words of Douglas Keating of the Philadelphia Inquirer, “the funniest, most upbeat performer (whose) happiness is real & infectious.” She is the author of several books of poetry, Jesus Never Lived Here & The Bones of Susan and A Positive Life, a photo book about women living with HIV.
