About the Show
Aaron Latham’s Pogo & Evie: A Zydeco Musical as a celebration of the musical culture of a now torn community. The story is set in modern times, but was created around the legend of Amédé Ardoin, a famous accordion player who was lynched in 1941. Sergio Alvarado directs.
