Orange Alert

The South Street Seaport’s Algonquin Seaport Theater hosts the debut of Orange Alert, a haunting new play on loss, construction and love at Ground Zero starring Robert Funaro from HBO’s The Sopranos.

Written by Stephen Girasuolo and directed by Leslie Silva, Orange Alert takes place in present day Ground Zero, examining the rejuvenation of the area. The play traces the lives of six people–all of who work in Ground Zero– giving witness to their most unexpected choices made within a heightened state of uncertainty caused by the events of 9/11.
