New York City
Momsense is a musical comedy cabaret-style review about the trials and tribulations of motherhood. The show was created by and stars four musical Manhattan moms as a charity fundraising vehicle. Running approximately one hour in length, Momsense features musical numbers about such universal topics as being up all night with a new baby, having your house destroyed, trying to get a babysitter, toddlers who can’t share toys, choosing kiddie classes, sibling rivalry, excuses at bedtime, less-than-helpful husbands, and much more. The show also touches on some of the more poignant aspects of motherhood through moving solos. This performance of Momsense is presented by the Yorkville Youth Athletic Assocation as a benefit for the victims of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita.
