deadmandancing EXCESS sets out to analyze the fear and fantasy of dying – a schizophrenic desire for living – that we are reminded of at death. Koosil-ja will collect dying performance footage from various films and sequence them to become a score for her dance. She will study each sequence by revealing rooted culture, religion, identity, economy and politics.
