Common Knowledge

About the Show

Common Knowledge is a two-actor comedy with dozens of memorable characters. Join Alex, the 8-year-old minimalist playwright; James Earl, the urbane mechanic with a psychic dog; Judith, the chatty Jewish matron; Misty, the over- the-top (and over-the-hill) stripper; Audrey, the lock-jawed world traveler and a host of others. The show, written and
performed by Randall Rapstine (the Bald Guy) and Doug Budin (a Jew), takes
these characters and many others on a delightfully bizarre theatrical journey exploring the “Common Knowledge” that connects one person to another.

This performance is presented as part of the New York International Fringe Festival.
