New York City
Chicago City Limits, New York’s longest running show, gets back to its roots as they move across town into their new home at The New York Improv, opening its 31st comedy revue, Unconventional Humor.
Chicago City Limits presents this collection of comedy scenes, songs and improvisations that offer cast and audience a collective catharsis as it takes aim at the state of our union, our city, and our world following the GOP Convention. George W and John Kerry take center stage in this election year comedy revue, but there’s plenty of rage to go around, with the myriad of faces, places and events that have shaped the past year. The great contribution that party politics has made to the comedy community will be joyously celebrated in “unconventional” fashion.
Cast members include Joe DeGise II, Kimmy Gatewood, Morgan Phillips, and Robert Schiffmann. Travis Ploeger accompanies the group on keyboard. The show is directed by Paul Zuckerman and Joe DeGise II. Producers are Linda Gelman and Paul Zuckerman
