Artists: Stand The @#$% Up

An open mic night of artistry and community, of coming together to express, to vent, to share and to heal. With Election Day only a month behind us, and the Electoral College vote coming up on December 19th, many of us feel we don’t know how to directly change our nation’s fate. But we do know how to create. We know how to write, to play, and to sing. We know how to speak to the human experience. That is what we, as artists, have to offer. Join us in creating an open mic meant to speak out through our art and to find a safe creative space to reflect. Let’s spend our time and energy standing up and speaking out. We encourage artists of all walks of life to join us in sharing work (original or otherwise). Hosted by internationally recognized poet Scottt Raven.
