About This Show

Ana 3/11, written by internationally renowned, Spanish playwright Paloma Pedrero, accounts the devastatingly, suspenseful journey of three women awaiting the fate of one man trapped in the Madrid train bombings on March 11, 2004. This one hour, highly charged, stylistically daring piece investigates the human condition when forced to operate under extreme moments of potentially life shattering loss. Ms. Pedrero introduces the audience to three women named Ana who, unbeknownst to each other, find themselves in the same moments of panic while waiting to hear whether their lover, husband and son, Angel Vera Garcia, has survived or lost his life in the horrific terrorist attacks of the day. With this brave, ever present ensemble cast, Ana 3/11 dives deeply into the psyche of three different women bound tightly together by one missing soul.

Presented as part of the 10th Annual New York International Fringe Festival.
